First up are Meg’s picks. As a mother of one and a lover of outdoor activities like horseback riding, Meg’s favorites are all about comfort – soft cashmere sweaters, simple shoes, and sweet scents!
Cozy comfort and warm tones are some of this seasons greatest trends! Perfect for a party or snuggling up next to a fire, this ensemble of a classic v-neck sweater, ballerina flats, and stunning jewels combine to create a soft elegance that’s perfect for the holidays!

(1. A.J. Morgan readers $32, 2. chunky ring $48, 3. Echo “Touch” quilted driving gloves $34, 4. vintage-inspired wood clock $50, 5. Tatine artisanal candles $34)
One look and you can see that Devon has an eye for style in choosing her favorite things. For these chic fuchsia readers, Devon would almost trade her 20/20 vision for a slight myopia. (Might we suggest just swapping out the lenses for uncorrected ones to achieve a ladylike librarian look with a twist.) Looking for a little funk for the holidays? – check out the metal circular chunky ring and Echo’s chartreuse quilted gloves with “Touch” technology so you can work your iPhone or touchscreen device without getting your hands cold! And, to warm up your home during the holidays, Devon has chosen this sweet vintage-inspired wall clock and Tatine’s all-natural beeswax and essential oil candles, available in clean-burning wintery pine scent.
To get into the holiday spirit and help give you guys ideas for affordable gifts the recipient is sure to love, we’re going to be featuring staff favorites over the next few weeks. Each person will pick their five favorite items that can all be purchased for under $50!
We know it can be a bit like trying to find a needle in a haystack stepping through our doors so we hope this will help you narrow it down!
(1. reindeer ornament $16, 2. flowering headband $30, 3. antiqued votive $12, 4. Lollia perfume $49, 5. two-finger ring $25)
Firstly, I love these items because they are crisp clean whites and blues with hints of metallic – perfect colors for getting into a white Christmas sort of mood. The reindeer ornament reminds me of a handmade ornament my grandmother could have created, and it has the slightest hint of glitter for extra pop. For an occasion to wear this snug headband/ear muff, I might actually wish for snow, or at least some weather under 40 degrees. Votive holders such as this one are a fun and inexpensive way to dress up your table for the holidays – a little flicker goes a long way! And, if you haven’t stopped to smell the Lollia perfumes we carry, you are really in for a treat – my favorite is “Wish” (shown) because of its hints of pepper and cinnamon mixed with sweet vanilla. Lastly, this ring is an affordable way to try out the two-finger ring trend while keeping your finger mobility!
As always, we have a whole wall full of sheet paper (most priced at or under $5) to wrap your gifts in a fun and festive way!
Like you, we’re wishing that fall would just stay here for more than a day. That doesn’t mean though that we can’t start looking for our favorites and go-to’s for the season.
In the sea of neutrals and grays we’ve found some pops of color in the form of bold accessories to brighten up your outfits. The Echo scarves shown are priced at $38 (right) and $48 (left) – not bad for season staple. Not to mention, they are soft and comfy too!
We like to mix and match, so pair a bolder pattern with a more conservative outfit like a classic navy plaid strapless dress and a cropped leather jacket ( a steal at only $182!!). Likewise, wear  a classic outdoorsy plaid scarf with an oversized chunky knit sweater and funky dress to top off a look that would be as great for a brisk walk in the woods as for a casual lunch with friends.
As always, stop in to explore our revolving selection of handbags and jewelry!
